Seeking Honesty, or Agreement?
Seeking honesty, or agreement?
We say we want the truth and honesty from people, but when it comes right down to it, most of the time it’s actually agreement we’re looking for and hope to find.
Let me save you the shock of discovering that you might think you want me to be honest & straight with you – but deep down, you’ll be listening for what you can believe and agree with.
Don’t worry – that’s normal.
Still, I’d like to offer you the opportunity to go from your normal way of being – to where you will receive the most benefit.
How?
By not comparing what you know against what I’m sharing to see how it stands against your version of truth before you’ll consider believing it. Being open to the possibility that there may be things you are not aware of that, when added to what you know and believe, may alter what you hold to be true.
Remember, everything you know and believe
was at one time completely unknown to you
– and you never even knew you didn’t know it.
Savor that…
Know that you have a built-in bias that your current beliefs use to keep you on course with who you believe you are and how you expect your life will go.
The good, the bad, and the ugly.
The biggest key to growing and going
beyond where you are is to realize
that you only know what you know.
Everything…
EVERYTHING that we know
we didn’t know until we did.
It is one of the simplest yet profound truths.
Still, so many will overlook it and choose to
view the things around them through
the mirror of their past rather than
the looking glass of the present.
One of the biggest hurdles you will face in this World
is believing there is only one way to do something,
and you know what that is – and it is the best way.
Be open to the revelation that what you believe to be true
is based upon a minute portion of what is actually possible.
It could very well transform nearly every area of your Life.
