Let It Be…

Let-it-be-1

Can you find peace?
Sorry. Wrong question.
WILL you find peace?
Still not right.
Will you allow peace?
There. That’s more like it.

It’s actually easier to find than you might think – the tougher task is that our focus tends to drift toward everything that ISN’T “it”, sometimes by choice – most times our unawareness.
( see: Thinksalot.com )

I’m going to ask you to experiment with changing the meaning that you have of so many things happening around you.
I’d like to see you remove your attachment to the “right” and “wrong” that you have of it.
I’m asking that you stop comparing what IS to what you wish it were.
I’d like you to give others the freedom to do the same.

Have you ever stopped to consider that most of the things you are unhappy with are a result of what you’ve made them mean, and how wrong you’ve made them to be? The majority of your arguments with others is because you haven’t given them the same freedom of view, thought, and choice that you expect and demand they give you.

Let it be.
Let. It. Be.

It’s not just a classic tune from the Beatles – it’s something we resist in nearly every part of our life.
We cannot merely let it be – because we have to define it, label it, call it right or wrong, and make sure it is what we say it is and that everyone else agrees that it is what it is! AND… if they don’t agree, it’s our responsibility to make them the new “it”; that thing we cannot let be.

Truly, there are worthier pursuits in Life – and I would love for each and every one of you to find a purpose for your life that would transcend the noise that would convince you what and how to think about the things that be. Transform your life into one that can make a positive impact in the world rather than allow yourself to be continully stirred up into a powerless mass of empty rhetoric.

You may accidentally discover one day
that peace has snuck into your soul;
but only if you’ll allow it.
