For your sacrifice; Thank you…
Since the first breath of Freedom as a Nation,
our soldiers have sacrificed to keep us a free country.
We the People, who they have risked and given their lives for,
may not always agree with causes they’ve been instructed to fulfill.
Yet they continue to follow their oath and their orders
to protect us regardless of themselves and their fate.
They fight to protect OUR freedoms, our rights, and our lives
so that we can be free to celebrate or not celebrate this day
that honours the ultimate price too many have paid.
To those courageous many who have been a part
in preserving my freedom of speech to write this;
I thank you for your sacrifice.
