Are Your Dreams Inconvenient?

 In recording various chapters for an audiobook,
I was reminded of how many “inconveniences” 

 have shaped the world we live in.  

 As a matter-of-fact, I can’t think of any successful venture in Life that is achieved through merely going with the flow and taking the easy way out.

Anyone who has ever moved above and beyond
has done it not because it was effortless and easy.
Those who achieved their dreams and the desires of their heart have discovered it quite inconvenient and uncomfortable at times – especially those times when it counted the most.
When it was easier to sit back and relax,
they took those extra steps that got them ahead.
When it was more convenient to NOT go the extra mile, or seemed like too much work, required too much effort – they stepped out on faith and foot to create something that the majority of others merely long for… wait for… and never realize.
Those things worth having,
in any portion of your Life,
are worth the “inconvenience”.
Those things that come easy
tend to go just as easily,
leaving us shortchanged.

So the next time Life brings you something that requires more effort than you’d bargained for - consider these words I heard in my earlier 20′s;

“The greater the price, the greater the prize”

There are greater Treasures to be found
just beyond where you give up, my Friend…
