Stop the Noise

NOISE-OFF

For a moment
turn off the noise
and listen.

No music.
No video.

Simply be still
and try to hear You.

This might take some time -
because we have been inundated
and conditioned to have so much
sound become the background of
our lives that we don’t even
know what “We” sound like.… —-> Continue…

The Past Has Passed…

past-x-350w

The past has no hands to hold,
nor arms to wrap around us.
It remains with us only because of the grip WE have on it.

What If It Was You?

do-not-judge-me-help-me-350w

Many years ago I heard a story
about a letter Abraham Lincoln
had written to one of his generals

Love one another.

Always. Unconditionally.

Include yourself.

I love You.—-> Continue…

When you made them,
most likely they seemed like
a good idea at the time -
much like the ones
you make today… Right?

Maybe you should ask yourself;
“What am I basing this decision on?”

How far out of your own self are you stepping;
and have you looked at it objectively and unattached??… —-> Continue…

Trying to give… Love

Un-Worthy-lg

I saw a quote earlier that said;
“You deserve the love you keep trying to give everyone else.”

The word that jumped out at me was “Try”.
Call me crazy, but the image that came to mind was of someone “giving love” to others, and then pulling it back… taking it back when they didn’t feel it was reciprocated.… —-> Continue…

In Ever Loving Memory of Dad…

“Will you be a pallbearer?” he asked me.
I looked at him – not understanding the question.
A pallbearer is someone who helps carry a casket
at a funeral, and we weren’t having a funeral.
We were just… we were just here.… —-> Continue…
