My son and I were listening to a live
rendition of a song called “Need You Now”.
I told him that I like to hear the sound

The other night I found myself in a Shari’s

by an example of living unreasonably.
There was a man & woman sitting at the booth
diagonally across from me, and I couldn’t help

Whenever I used to call
someone on the phone
I would ask them;
“Is this a good
time to call ?”
or “Did I catch you
at a good time ?”
Now – I’m not exactly on the phone with you, but still…

UNCOMFORTABLE… yet worth it!
I just saw a T-Shirt that said;
“SEEK DISCOMFORT”.
In our lifetime, and generations prior, we have
been sold a bill of goods that tells us we ought to
seek comfort, pursue pleasures, and embrace familiarity.
We’ve been conditioned to think that the “Good things in Life”
are to be found within the familiar (Go with what you know!),
what’s comfortable (Easy does it!), and pleasurable
