When the fireworks fade…

After the fireworks fade,
and the last bottle rocket lands
I hope you will take a moment
followed by every moment
to question your Freedom.

If you’ve never sat down and read
the Declaration of Independence,
I would encourage you to do so.… —-> Continue…

It’s after midnight, and
by all rights I should go to sleep.
But then again, some things can’t wait.
Ever since last night a line
has been repeating itself
over and over in my head.

“There are bigger things at work here…”

It’s a line (or close to it) from
one of the Spider Man movies.… —-> Continue…

Be Good to Yourself

I’m beginning to see something.

The fortunes inside fortune cookies are being written
by people who have a vested interest in cookie sales.

Have I told you lately…

Wait a minute.
It doesn’t matter if I have;
you’re going to hear this anyway -
so listen up…. Please   :)

When I tell you that you may not know
the difference you have made in my Life,
I hope you do not take that lightly -

other forces keeps me picking myself up off the floor
and walking another day with hope and a smile.… —-> Continue…

immediate decisive action was
needed to achieve a victory,
and because of his delays and
decisions a defeat seemed eminent.… —-> Continue…

What is YOUR special occasion?

Not too long ago I was listening to a song
I’ve heard many many times before.
It wasn’t a song I particularly like,
but on this day I really heard it.
What stood out for me
was this part of the chorus:

“…a moment like this
Some people wait a lifetime
For a moment like this “

Many things came to mind, namely that I couldn’t
think of a moment that I had NOT waited a lifetime for.… —-> Continue…

Stop the Noise

NOISE-OFF

For a moment
turn off the noise
and listen.

No music.
No video.

Simply be still
and try to hear You.

This might take some time -
because we have been inundated
and conditioned to have so much
sound become the background of
our lives that we don’t even
know what “We” sound like.… —-> Continue…
