It was not quite 10 o’clock when I started out tonight.
I finally got the clutch fixed in the Roadster,
just in time for a few rain sprinkles :P
The top will have to go down another night…

So here’s what I found next to the checkout stand
at the gas station tonight; “all natural Crayons sports drink”.… —-> Continue…

NO GOOD DEED goes unpunished… Really?

I was reminded again tonight of something
that my brother said to me not too long ago.
“No good deed goes unpunished.”

I’ve heard that phrase before, but
haven’t really understood the meaning.

I’m at the Salvation Army thrift store
standing in line to purchase a small
dresser I’d found to help organize

visiting my parents & seeing old friends after too many years
is that I am seen as the same kid I was over 25 years ago.

But… it’s not much of a revelation.… —-> Continue…

Take That First Step…

staircase350x350dOver the weekend I ran across this
quote by Martin Luther King, Jr.

“You don’t have to see
the whole staircase,
just take the first step.”

When I read this, I pictured a spiral staircase -
one that quickly turned out of sight as it twisted upward.… —-> Continue…

How do you save a Life?

saving-a-drowning-man-350x150
How would you feel
if you saved someone’s life ?

No, really.   Quit “multi-tasking”
and give this some serious thought.

Picture whatever scenario you want to:

Pull a person from a burning building
just before the roof caves in.

Perform the Heimlich maneuver on a child
who was choking in a restaurant.… —-> Continue…
