Almost… doesn’t come close

I heard a commercial the other day
that talked about how several people
almost gave a man this or that…
and because of it, he almost
made it through the night alive.

The point of the commercial was this:
Don’t “almost” give.… —-> Continue…

Keeping the Treasure of You…

Recently I’ve had a few discussion about…
EX’es
(or is it “exes”, “ex’s”, or “exi”
as in more than one “ex” ???)

So here’s my theory.

People are people,
and we all have things about us
that rub people the right way,

I often wonder
what you were doing before

this is the only part I heard.… —-> Continue…

Sort of like standing on a frozen river;
the part you’re standing on is made from
the very same thing that flows beneath you;
yet one moves on, while the other stays.… —-> Continue…

At the end of your rope? Tie a knot!

Lately it seems the things that
have flowed from my mind
to my fingers have not been
what most would call “inspiring”.
Hence, they reside locked away
in a folder with about 40 or more
pieces in various stages
of completion.… —-> Continue…

What is a stranger but an Unmet Friend…

friends-peek-a-boo
Just as I opened the door to
the machine shop, the sounds -
very LOUD sounds – of barking
dogs meet my ears, and
for a moment I wonder:
Will I be a customer today… or lunch ?!
The four legged carnivores met me first,
tripping over themselves trying to see
who was going to get the first bite in.… —-> Continue…
